This is my familys Chocolate Pie recipe. It is to die for.
We make it for Thanksgiving.
Ingredients:
- 1/2 pound chocolate bar with almonds (we use Hershey's)
- 10 large marshmallows (10 small ones = 1 large marshmallow)
- 1/3 cup of milk
- 1/2 pint whipping cream
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla
- 8" grahm cracker crust (we buy the already done crusts in the store)
Directions:
- Melt the chocolate bar, marshmallows and milk over medium heat, while stirring.
- Then let cool.
- Whip the cream in seperate bowl.
- Add in the vanilla to the cream.
- Fold into chocolate mixture.
- Pour into the pie crust.
Chill the pie (covered) in the fridge for at least four hours, over night is prefered.
